An Open Letter from Steven Dean Daniels
Dear Patriotic Family,
I hope this letter finds you all in good health and high spirits. It’s been a tumultuous journey for us over the past few years, and I wanted to take a moment to share our story with you—the loyal fans who have stood by us through thick and thin.
As many of you know, we’ve recently parted ways with our former management and have reclaimed the rights to all our music. This has been a liberating experience, allowing us to relaunch with our new website, patriotictheband.com, and take full control of our creative destiny.
The road here hasn’t been easy. We’ve faced significant challenges due to the content of our lyrics—lyrics that come from the depths of our hearts and reflect our genuine beliefs and experiences. Our song “What Happened To Us” became a focal point of controversy. Despite immense pressure to pull the song or alter its message, I refused to compromise our artistic integrity. That song represents not just our voice, but the voice of many who feel unheard.
We also want to express our deepest gratitude for your overwhelming support of our track “America First.” Just as it was gaining momentum and resonating with so many, we found ourselves shadow banned on social media and streaming platforms. It was a disheartening time, feeling like our connection with you was being severed. But your unwavering support kept us motivated.
Now, as we stand on the threshold of a new chapter, I’m filled with hope and excitement. Being back and in control of our future means we can continue to make the music that matters to us—and to you—without constraints. We are committed to staying true to ourselves and to all of you who’ve believed in us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your loyalty, your passion, and your belief in our music. We couldn’t have made it through without you. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on and are eager to see what the future holds.
Stay strong, stay proud, and keep the faith.
